FAQ

Q: Why don’t I see GIFs in conversations?

A: Possible causes and solutions:

  • Cookies not accepted: This often happens in incognito mode, but can occur in any browser. To restore GIFs, go to Settings → Privacy → Cookie settings, click Go, and select Accept all.
  • Light login option enabled: If you logged in with the light mode option, GIFs may be disabled. To restore them, re-login with light mode unchecked. (Note: loading may be slower on slow internet connections.)

Q: I used Google sign-in but want a password login. How do I switch?

A: Sign in with OTP, then go to Settings → Account → Change password. Use the OTP as your old password.

Q: How to set a password after the OTP based login?

A: To move from OTP based login to "Sign in with Twynes password", first login with OTP sent to email address. Then go to Settings → Account → Change password to set a password. While changing the password you should provide the recently used OTP as the old password.
